Kids N Fitness is in the process of adding Brighwheel to our list of services for parents. Brightwheel is an app that will allow for quick and efficient communication between parents and staff members throughout the day. Staff will be able to provide communication effectively, without taking time away from the children. We know parents are extremely busy, and our desire is to use this program to communicate expeditiously and in the most convenient way for our families.

A note from Ms. Karen on her official final day:
When I started in child care 34 years ago, I would lovingly call myself a professional potty trainer. Today, on my last official day, I know I've been lucky to be that and so much more, including a co-teacher, advisor, cook, director and friend.
Throughout my time, I've had the pleasure of crossing paths with so many wonderful kids and their parents, who have welcomed me into their child's lives and families, and for this I'm extremely grateful. I've also been blessed to work alongside and learn from so many fantastic child care teachers and providers, making me so proud of the work we do each day.
Between farm days and town days and being duct tape to the wall as well as kissing pigs and endless book fairs, you all have made the last few decades so much fun. Where does the shed need to go

Our families and community are amazing!!! We have had a dog pen and a shed donated to Miss Julie as well as many monetary donations!!!! Julie and her family are so very grateful and are at a loss for words on the outpouring of love and help they have received! It is truly wonderful! We will continue to take donations at any of our Kids N Fitness locations as well as the account at the Buena Vista National Bank and also the Village Hall both in Warrensburg.
On a side note if anyone has totes they would like to donate for storage items they are in need of those as well as a tall dresser.

I have a tall dresser! I just don’t have a big enough vehicle to transport it.

I have totes I can bring Monday as well!

I have a few storage totes. Should I bring them to KnF Monday or drop off somewhere this weekend?

I have a 5 drawer dresser they can have if someone can pickup and deliver

To all of our Kids N Fitness families new and old:

We were able to speak with Miss Julie today, and asked her the best way in which to help her family. She currently has taken in all four of her grandchildren after the horrible tragedy that occurred during the Thanksgiving holiday. Since taking in her grandchildren, and 2 dogs, the biggest need they have is money to purchase a shed to store belongings from the children’s home, a dog pen for the dogs in the yard so that the children are able to keep their pets, and the ability to purchase another vehicle to get the children back and forth to their school. We will continue to take monetary donations to help them in purchasing these items. Miss Julie has been a blessing to so many families at Kids N Fitness over the years as well as all of her coworkers. Yes I have someone who might do the panels!

They are looking for something around a 12x12 or 15x15 since they are so big

We have a large igloo outdoor dog house that has never been used we can happily give to Julie and the grandkids.

I know the Village of Warrensburg set up an account at the bank in Warrensburg specifically for the family.

We have a large dog crate we'd be happy to donate.
